About Computer Consultants Group, Charleston's Trusted IT Company

Computer Consultants Group, Inc. (CCG) was founded in Charleston’s Lowcountry by two colleagues who shared a vision: to provide unbiased, high-quality IT consulting and support services without the pressure of product sales. Frustrated by the limitations of traditional computer dealerships focused on hardware and software sales quotas, they set out to build a customer-first IT consultancy. Their goal was simple: deliver expert computer support and guidance tailored to each client’s needs, helping businesses acquire the best systems and software available.

More than 25 years later, CCG remains a trusted provider of IT support in Charleston and surrounding areas, serving a diverse range of industries and businesses.

Our Consultants

Darius GarsysDarius Garsys, Account Manager, Support Consultant

Darius is a lifelong tech enthusiast with a passion for problem-solving. A Navy veteran, he spent 12 years as a nuclear mechanic, including five years aboard a submarine and two tours as a shore-based instructor—an experience that first brought him to Charleston. His time in the military sharpened his leadership skills and gave him a deep technical foundation, which he has applied to IT consulting since joining CCG in 2007.

With decades of hands-on experience, Darius supports hundreds of users and a diverse range of clients, from REALTORS® and law firms to medical offices, architects, manufacturers, and environmental engineers. Many of his clients operate across multiple locations, requiring WANs, VPNs, and enterprise-level network solutions. His expertise spans Windows (NT–8), macOS (7–10.13), Linux, and even IBM AS/400 systems. He has worked extensively with Windows Server (NT4–2012), MS Exchange, MS SQL, Terminal Services, Citrix, and enterprise security solutions.

An experienced educator, Darius has taught A+, Microsoft, and Cisco certification courses, as well as introductory programming in Basic and C. He holds certifications including MCSE, MCSA, MCP, and A+, among others.

Darius lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife and two daughters. His son, a University of Pennsylvania graduate, keeps him on his toes by working at Google—fueling a bit of professional jealousy. When he’s not troubleshooting networks, Darius enjoys classic poetry, board games, RPGs, and a good movie.
